With deep expertise in guiding strategic technological development and leading diverse tech teams, I aim to build bridges between innovation and impact.

My goal is to seamlessly integrate technology and business strategy, always looking for opportunities to collaborate and shape a more sustainable future.

I like to utilize my profound technological expertise, combined with my business economics background, to facilitate societal change. My role includes:

  • Guiding strategic technological development
  • Implementing more efficient technologies and technological processes
  • Analyzing current technology and advising on how it can be improved
  • Ensuring that the IT department runs well and smoothly
  • Aligning technology and business strategy, and defining the goals
  • Acting as a liaison between technical teams and management
  • Drafting the technical standards and ensuring that they are followed

  • Leading the creation of intuitive digital platforms that seamlessly connect diverse academic communities, fostering collaboration, innovation, and global impact.
  • Worked closely with global research institutions, understanding their needs, and customizing solutions to enhance collaboration.
  • Launched and managed a thriving web development agency, crafting innovative online solutions that elevate businesses’ digital presence.
  • Led a skilled team in designing and developing highly functional websites that resonate with audiences.

Theo Kraan Prize

In honor of Theo Kraan, Van Lanschot Bankiers has established the Theo Kraan Prize, an amount of €2,500 that is awarded once a year to a student with the best written final thesis (master thesis) on an investment-related topic. In the spirit of Theo Kraan, it is examined whether the thesis meets the following requirements: substantively strong, accessible written, idiosyncratic and up-to-date.
